While I'm welcoming all the new members, I'd like to mention a few of the things we are working on now for a near-future update!

First, we have taken our advertising system offline temporarily, because we are integrating it with AvMatch.com advertising. This will allow members the ability to advertise on either site directly from the 2ndhub ad portal. Business spotlights are currently hand selected by us, but once the ad portal is updated, members will be able to buy their own business spotlight ads! We will also offer banners and text based ads.

Points! Next, we will be introducing our new 2ndhub Points system. This will allow every member to earn points every single day just from doing things like logging in, posting, and creating new 'event' listings. Points will be able to be used to buy ads or spotlights, among other things. This should add a fun incentive for everyone to stay active here and build up some points!

Finally, Tal and I are working on a new 'Vendor' system for all of you creators that sell things in world. This system will allow you to setup multiple vendors all over the grid and manage them from 2ndhub!

Ok, so there are a few of our upcoming updates. There will be more to come, but I just wanted to get this out here and again welcome everyone to 2ndhub! We hope you love using 2ndhub as much as we've enjoyed creating it. :)

2ndhub.com Site upgraded again with many new features!
Greetings everyone! Yesterday we completed our latest site upgrade and I'm pleased to tell you all about some of the new features. This was a big software update for 2ndhub and we are quite excited about it. Ok, so let's get right to it... 1. New 'Groups' Pages and Directory.

Greetings everyone! Yesterday we completed our latest site upgrade and I'm pleased to tell you all about some of the new features. This was a big software update for 2ndhub and we are quite excited about it. Ok, so let's get right to it...

1. New 'Groups' Pages and Directory.
Groups have always existed on 2ndhub, but they were in-world update groups that could be managed from the site. These were awesome, but we decided to take them to the next level! Now your update groups can have their own page and they can exist in our group directory. What's even better is that you can assign 'roles' to your members! You have Officers, Moderators, Full Members and Fan Members. Officers can send in-world notices to the group directly from the site! Moderators can help keep the group posts in line by being able to, well, moderate group comments. Full members can start posts on the group page, and Fan members can comment on Notices and Posts that allow commenting. Group 'In-world notices' can show up on your group page if you like, and your members can comment on them! Don't forget that you can also send any in-world object or Landmark to your group via our group notices! Also note that you can link any business to your group, and it will show up on your group page. Finally, you can 'invite' your 2ndhub friends to join your 2ndhub group directly from your 'friends' page! Now your group has it's own 'forum' for staying up to date with group happenings.

2. My Priority Feed!
In our last update, we gave you a new 'Public Feed' on your My Hub page for news, posts and comments. Now we are giving you an even more powerful feed - a 'priority' feed! After you get a lot of friends on 2ndhub, you join some groups, and you favorite some businesses, your private feed can get pretty 'busy'. It can be hard to keep up with everything that is going on! Well, now you can choose your friends, favorites and groups to be either regular or 'priority'. This will help you to stay up to date more easily with your closest friends and most important businesses and groups. It's SUPER EASY to use as well. Simply visit your My Friends, My Favorites and Groups I'm In pages and select the 'Priority' menu for the friend, business or group. That's all you have to do! Now when you are on your My Hub home page, you can select your 'Priority Feed' to see priority News, Posts and Notices!

3. My Activity Feed!
Another new feed! This one is already a hit and is bound to make keeping up with your posts a whole lot easier! Every post you start, like or comment on will show up in this feed. A really quick way to keep tabs conversations you've participated in. In this case keeping tabs equals your My Activity Feed Tab! :P

4. Improved My Friends, My Favorites and Group's I'm In pages. We've added search to each of these pages, along with viewing regular or priority status, and with a sorting menu as well. You can also send group invites and even bulk group invites to all of your friends on 2ndhub, directly from your My Friends page!

5. Public group in-world notices will show up on the left side of your My Hub page, similar to business news.

6. You can now 'unlike' a post, in case you like something and then well, you change your mind. :P

7. Some cosmetic changes include: New icons for Flickr and YouTube content. Icons for objects and Landmarks in in-world notices. We've also quietly removed the 'beta' from the top banner. New My Groups menu items in the upper right member area.

8. We have upgraded the server a little bit and we continue to optimize the inner workings of the site to keep it running as quickly as we possibly can! All these new features take memory and computing power!

9. Last but not least, Taliesin and I are also working on updating some of our current in-world tools as well as preparing the release of our next exciting 2ndhub connected in-world tool!

Hello everyone! Last night we updated 2ndhub and we added several new features that I want to tell you about.

3. Picture of the moment. This displays a random picture on the My Hub page from personal profiles that are set to 'public'. It's simple but fun!
4. New 'public' feed next to the regular 'personal' feed on your 'My Hub' page. This lets you see public posts and news from all members of the site, even if they are not on your friends or favorites list!
5. More space for your profile descriptions! You now have 1200 characters instead of just 500.
6. Our shiny-new, custom support-ticket system! This will make it easier for our members and administrators to keep track of any support issues that may come up. A ticket will be created and you'll be able to see a record of all of your tickets under the main Support tab!

2ndhub Delivery Server 1.1 Released.
Today we released an updated 2ndhub Delivery Server. This update not only makes deliveries more reliable, it will make them up to 4 times faster than before!! It also fixes a small bug that had to do with unregistered servers staying registered on the site. Please make sure you deliver yourself a replacement if you haven't already received one. You can do this on the tool delivery page under My Tools!

Delivery Servers allow you to send items to members of your 2ndhub groups, and they also allow people to receive free gifts if they touch your 2ndhub subscriber board. For more info see your My Tools section above!

Live private chat & new notification options for posts and comments!
We recently added live private chat to 2ndhub! Although technically in beta, this feature seems to be working great! We will be adding a few additional features to it in the near future, but for now it's stable and fun. Give it a try!

We recently added live private chat to 2ndhub! Although technically in beta, this feature seems to be working great! We will be adding a few additional features to it in the near future, but for now it's stable and fun. Give it a try!

Late tonight, or early this morning, we added a new set of notification features for all posts and comments on 2ndhub. You can see and modify your new settings on your 'super settings' page under My Hub. In a nutshell, you can now choose to either automatically or voluntarily subscribe to any post you create or comment on! This means that you can choose to be automatically notified either by email, in-world notice, or both simply by setting your preferences. You can also choose different settings for posts you create as opposed to threads you comment in.

Finally, for those of you who use AvMatch, we will be adding live chat to AvMatch with our next software update. This should come very soon!
